The icon ‘“O Mother All-Glorified’ belongs to the iconographic type of the Virgin Mary of Tenderness Our Lady supporting the Divine Child with Her palms is depicted waist-length.The arms of the Divine Child are raised.On the shoulders and the head of the Mother of God instead of usual asterisks –symbols of virginity- are medallions with the heads of an angel, which is sometimes interpreted by orthodox theologians as an ancient symbolic idea of the Trinity.
