In the central section of the icon Jesus Christ is depicted waist-length. In His left hand he holds the Gospel Book and His right arm is raised in a gesture of blessing. On the raised flat borders of the icon panel are the interceding angels and four saints: St.Mark, St.Alexander, St.Theodosia and St.Anna.

The waist-length depiction of the apostle, in a slight turn to the left. Mark is dressed in the red chiton and the green coat. The white pigments can be seen on the clothes. Mark is holding the open Gospel book (with the text). At the right shoulder of the apostle is depicted the symbol of Mark (the lion). The background of the icon is light green. The halos are golden with red outlines. The hair also has got the white pigment inserts. The face is painted thoroughly, the painter displays his knowledge of anatomy.
