• Our Lady of Jerusalem

    In the center of the icon are the figures of the Holy Virgin and the Child looking at each other. The upper part represents the figures of John the Baptist (in the center), on either side of Him are the Archangel Michael and Gabriel, the Apostles Peter and Paul. On border margins are semi-figures of the saints – Nicholas the Wonderworker, Basil the Great, George the Theologian, John Chrysostom, Peter, Metropolitan of Moscow, and Leontius, bishop of Rostov. In the lower part are the figures of martyrs Minas and Necetos. The images of three unknown saints in the center of the lower part are completely destroyed.
  • Our Lady of Georgia, with Venerable John Climacus

    The Mother of God is depicted in an almost frontal position. The Child is shown seated on the Holy Virgin’s hand; the Infant Christ has an elongated figure and a small head, with His feet shown sidewise. The fingers of the Child’s right hand are folded in a blessing gesture close to the three-fingers sign. In the upper top corner of the icon, against a golden background, is the figure of St. John Climacus. He is represented in a three-quarter turn towards the Mother of God; his hands are uplifted in prayer, and his feet stand on ‘pozyom’ (the symbol of earthly ground).
  • Mother of God with the Child (the Georgian type)

    The Mother of God is portrayed in an almost frontal pose. The Child is depicted seated on Her left hand. The Child is represented in profile, turned to His Mother leading forward to Him; in His hands he holds a folded scroll.
  • Mother of God Hodegetria with Saint Basil the Great

    The waist-length depiction of the Holy Virgin holding the Divine Child in Her left hand. The head of the Mother of God is inclined to the Divine Child turning to Her, His left hand is holding a folded scroll and His right hand is blessing.  In the upper left corner of the icon against the golden background can be seen the half-figure of blessing saint Basil the Great with the Gospel book.
