Origin: Received by he the museum in 1975 from Z.N.Dadykin under the will of the late N.V.Dadykina.

On the left is a depiction of Prince Gleb, on the right is an image of Prince Boris. The saints are depicted full-length, wearing round fur hats, dalmatics and cloaks decorated with an ornament, holding a cross in the right hand and a sword in the left. The icon is an example of ancient art imitation iconography that was widespread in 19th century Russian provincial icon-painting, particularly at Palekh and Mstyora. The faces are executed in accordance with the 16th century Moscow tradition.
