Archangel Michael

The commander of the heavenly host is represented full-length, in a frontal pose, dressed in a long green dalmatic, its chest and hem are decorated with the ochroid stripes with the pattern made of the colored gemstones and the pearls. A tippet ties dalmatic at the waist. A cinnabar mantle tied at the neck is put on the dalmatic. Michael is holding a thin baton in his right hand and in his left hand – a transparency with the monogram of Christ. The icon has a specific feature: the thin baton is depicted with a trident.
