Date: XVII century.

Origin: From the chapel commemorating Great martyr George the Victorious in the village of Maza, Belozersky district, Novgorodskaya region (now Kaduyskiy district, Vologodskaya region).

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 77,5 cm, width 61,2 cm

Saint George sitting on the white horse slays the dragon leashed by tsarevna Elisava. Behind her stand her father and the court. In the windows of the architectural background can be seen the citizens. The angels put a martyr wreath on the head of the saint. In the upper left corner is depicted blessing Jesus Christ.

Was deposited in 1935.
