The centerpiece shows full-length depiction of the blessing Sergius of Radonezh with the unfolded scroll in his left hand. The centerpiece is framed by the intricate floriated ornament with the rosettes at the corners. The ornament is painted with the colored varnishes on the silver raised flat border of the icon panel. Border scenes painting is typical for Northern Russia of the 17th century, each scene filled with staffage and hills. The characters in every scene seem to be squeezed into a limited space.
Was deposited in 1931.
Restoration: the All-Russian Art Scientific and Restoration Center named after I.E. Grabar, restorer Timofeev N.G.
In the centerpiece is shown the waist-length depiction of Venerable Sergius of Radonezh. His right hand is blessing, his left hand is holding an unfolded scroll.
