The centre of the composition shows Christ sitting on a donkey in a practically frontal pose, His legs are on the side of a viewer and His head is turned to the people walking out of the town. He is followed by the apostles headed by apostle Peter also depicted in a practically frontal pose. A child lays out the clothes on the way of Christ and the centre shows the adolescent picking the palm branches.
