In the central section of the icon against the townscape is crucified Jesus Christ with the saints interceding: on the left- the Virgin Mary, Mary Magdalene, Martha, and on the right-St.John the Theologian and St.Longinus,the Centurion. Above the Cross are two archangels and the Lord of Sabaoth in the clouds.In the corners of the central section are the celestial bodies.
