Angel appears to the Myrrh-Bearing Women

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 44 cm, width 35 cm

The icon portrays two women by the Holy Sepulcher holding alabasters with incense, and the Mother of God, who, according to a version, was together with them. To the right is an angel announcing the Resurrection of Christ. 


Deposited in the Museum on March 4, 1935. Restored in 1945-1946 in the Murom Museum by I.I.Tyulin.
