Origin: From the Church of the Exacalation of the Cross, Yaroslavl.

Material: Wood, levkas, tempera

Dimensions:  height 172 cm, width 133 cm

The icon shows the Mother of God with the Infant. It is executed in accordance with the canon, accepted for the icon of Our Lady of Smolensk, which, in turn, derived from the Hodegitria iconographic type.
