In the left part of the icon the raven is feeding the prophet in the wilderness. In the center of the icon Elijah uses his mantle to divide the waters of the river Jordan. In the left part is a scene of Elijah being ascended alive to heavens. In the upper part is the figure of the prophet standing in the fiery chariot.
