Crucifixion with four standing saints and four icons of the Holy Virgin
In the center of the icon is the Crucifixion, in the top and lower corners are four icons of the Mother of God: The Mother of God of Tenderness toward Evil Hearts, The Exaction of the Perished People, Virgin the Deliverance of sufferers from misfortunes, Virgin the Consoler of sorrowing people. The crucifixion is flanked by saint Mary, Martha, John the Baptist and St. Longinus the Martyr. On the borders are the figures of an angel, Nicholas the Wonderworker and saint martyr Alexandra. -

Mother of God enthroned with attending Sts. Nicholas and Clement
The Mother of God is shown seated on a backless throne. Her figure, slightly turned to the right, is shown at a very complex angle, which can be seen from the position of her feet, ankles and shoulders. The Child is is portrayed in a frontal posed, seated on the left lap of the Holy Virgin. He blesses with his right hand he is blessing, and holds a white scroll in his left. The Mother of God extends her right hand to Christ in an adoration gesture, supporting His feet with her left hand. On either side of the throne, on a much smaller scale than the Mother of God with the Child, are full-length figures of Sts. Nicholas (left) and Clement (right). They are represented in three-quarter turns, in attending poses, with hands raised and extended to the Mother of God with the Child. In the upper corners of the composition are half-length figures of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. -
Our Lady breastfeeding the Divine Child is depicted waist-length. On Her head the Mother of God wears the crown supported by two angels.In the lower section of the icon the saints- St.Nicholas the Miracleworker and St.John the Precurser are depicted waist-length on the medallions.

The Mother of God of the Sign.The Mother of God is depicted waist-length with the arms raised in prayer. Christ-Emmanuel is depicted in the medallion on Her bosom.In the lower part of the icon-the Venerable Mary of Egypt and St.Nicholas the wonderworker are interceding.

In the centrepiece of the icon the Venerable Father is depicted waist-length, his hands are folded on his chest. On the raised flat borders of the icon panel are full-length figures of St.Nicholas and St.Catherine.

A fresco. St. Nicholas is portrayed full-length, in an almost frontal pose, slightly turned to the right. He is blessing with his right hand and holds an open Gospel with his left. He is dressed in a blue robe, a white phelonion and a white omophorion with black crosses. From under the phelonion peeks out a light ochre club decorated with a red-brown floral ornamentation.

The depiction of saint Nicholas dates back to the 14th century and the depiction of Our Lady with the Divine Child – to the 16th century. Nicholas the Wonderworker is shown waist-length in a frontal pose. His right hand is raised in a gesture of blessing, his left hand holds the Gospel book. The face of the saint with a high forehead and the deep set eyes is framed by the light hair and the curly beard. He is dressed in the phelonion, on his shoulders is the white omophorion decorated with the black crosses. The silhouette of the figure is exquisite, the colors are pure but diluted by the light reduced ochres. The face is painted graphically and is covered with the intense highlights. The icon is likely to have been painted by the Russian icongrapher who patterned the byzantine image. The Mother of God is pointing at the Divine Child Who is blessing and holding a scroll in His hand. -
The icon depicts prophet Elijah, saints Nicholas the Wonderworker and Basil the Great, martyr George (below), martyrs and healers Florus and Laurus, martyrs Parasceva and Anastasia (above), interceding with the image of Our Lady of the Sign.

The icon depicts the full-length figures of the four saints: saint Nicholas, archdeacon Stephen, priest-martyrs Blasius and Clement, interceding with the image of Our Lady of the Sign. In the upper part of the composition to the right and to the left of the Mother of God are shown half-figures of martyresses Parasceva named “Friday” and Anastasia. -
Vladimir icon of the Mother of God with the Selected Saints
Apparently, this icon is a copy of the venerated relic of the Rostov Cathedral. The center of the upper border shows the scene of Transfiguration of Our Lord and at its sides are the waist-length depictions of bowing archangels Michael and Gabriel in the aureoles. On the right and on the left borders are shown the figures of the selected saints according to the hierarchy.There are prophet John the Forerunner and apostle Paul, apostles Peter and John the Theologian, saints Nicholas and Alexis, saint warriors Theodore of Tyre and Theodore Stratelates, martyresses Tatiana and Anastasia.

The centerpiece shows the waist-length depiction of St. Nicholas. On the upper border of the icon is represented Deesis with the image of Savior Not Made by Hands in the centre. At the sides of the Savior are represented waist-length depictions of the Mother of God, John the Forerunner and archangels Michael and Gabriel. At the sides of the central image of Nicholas the Wonderworker are shown the half-figures of great forefathers Basil the Great and Gregory the Theologian, apostles Peter and Paul , healers Cosmas and Damian. In the lower part of the centerpiece are the depictions of protomartyr archdeacon Stephen, great martyrs Parasceva, Catherine and Barbara and also martyr Menas. -
